Director's Message

Believing strongly in the significance of mental well-being as important as physical well-being, working passionately in the field of offline and online counseling and therapy for 30+ years, experiencing the painful aftereffects of COVID-19 on general public’s mental health, seeing the current trends of online services as easy access to the common public Mind Works Bait is established with a vision of reaching out to people struggling with their mental health concerns. It aims to desensitize the stigma attached to counseling and provide access to high-quality and evidence-based mental health services in an affordable manner. Mind Works Bait, is an online buddy to help individuals and families overcome emotional, behavioral & social challenges and achieve wholistic well-being.

We are a team of certified therapists, counselors and psychiatrists to reach you in your comfort zone to listen to your problems and help you to come out and walk towards a better life. We are extremely committed to providing well-structured, scientifically proven mental health services in a user-friendly manner.

Board of Directors

Dr. Farida D’Silva Dias

Dr. Farida D’Silva Dias, has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, is an Educator, Coach and Behavioural Trainer, and also has a Masters degree in Business Management, and another in Clinical Psychology. She is a certified Sr. Faculty Instructor of the William Glasser International, Inc (WGI,) USA. She heads the Centre for Reality Therapy India (CRTI), based in Goa, which is a Regional Member Organization of WGI, under the Jeevan Community Centre (NGO). She is presently the Chair of the Board of Directors of WGI.

Farida has been teaching and certifying participants upto the Faculty Training levels of Reality Therapy as outlined and permitted by WGI, in Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, Turkey, Amman, Cairo, Singapore, Malaysia and India (Goa, Mumbai, Bangalore, Udaipur, Pondicherry) over the last twenty years.

Farida has over thirty years experience in Human Resource Management and twenty years experience in psychological counseling, coaching and behavioural training to individuals as well as Corporates.

I am honoured to be part of any of the MIND WORKS activities and look forward to contributing.

Dr. Lakhan Poswal

Dr. Lakhan Poswal is a very senior and distinguished academician & clinician in the field of Pediatrics at Udaipur. He is MD in Pediatrics and Ph.D. in Child Psychology. He is passionate about children’s wholistic well-being. He is a senior professor of pediatrics, ex- Principal & controller of RNT medical college, ex- Superintendent of MB Hospital, Udaipur, Rajasthan. As the head of RNT, his inexhaustible efforts during COVID-19 are commendable for which he was awarded at divisional and state levels by the Government of Rajasthan.

He is a member of the state level task force for Pediatric COVID-19 management. During his tenure as principal, there was a huge development in the infrastructure and human resources in the RNT Medical College & attached hospitals with the help of the state government, Central government, DMFT Fund, MLA & MP Fund, various corporate houses and NGOs. He is an active member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, was its state president from 2020 – 2022, EB Member in 2018 and 2023. He is currently the chairperson of the IAP Respiratory chapter in Rajasthan. He strongly advocates that mental health services should reach every corner of the country.

Prof. Kalpana Jain

Prof. Kalpana Jain, has joined Mind Works Bait from the field of education and psychology. She is currently the Head of the Department of Psychology.

Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. She believes that mental health problems have been rising at a fast pace for a decade due to major changes in family structure, technologies, lifestyle, and educational and professional demands, among all the strata of society, especially in today’s youth. COVID Pandemic also worsened the situation. In order to reach a mass level online & offline counseling services are the need of the hour to build a mentally healthy society.
