CDI-II

CDI-II measures the severity of depression in children and adolescents. It has  27 items which measures  ‘Negative Mood, Interpersonal Problems, Ineffectiveness, and ‘Negative Self Esteem’, sadness, pessimism, self-deprecation, anhedonia, misbehavior, pessimistic worrying, self-hate, self-blame, suicidal ideation, crying spells, irritability, reduced social interest, indecisiveness, negative body image, school-work difficulty, sleep disturbance, fatigue, reduced appetite, somatic concerns, loneliness, school dislike, lack of friends, school performance decrement, self-depreciation (via peer comparison), feeling unloved, disobedience, temper tantrums and fighting. It’s an objective test, The raw scores are converted into standardized T scores.  Scoring and interpretation of scores are incomplete with a clinical interview on the marked items.
